Portfolio Get Together 2023

The Portfolio Get Together 2023 took place on February 16th at Torre BBVA — 33rdFloor in Mexico City to discuss how emerging technologies are disrupting the financial services sector and how traditional institutions are adapting to the changing market.

Hernan Fernández and Camilo Kejner, Managing Partners at Angel Ventures, opened the space with welcoming remarks. The event was an excellent opportunity for startups to learn from experts in the field, gaining valuable information that they could apply to their own companies. The presentations were informative and educational, covering a wide range of topics related to the event’s focus areas. From legal and regulatory issues to recruiting strategies, speakers provided valuable information that can help startups overcome common challenges.

During the Portfolio Get Together with the participation of several speakers, such as Pietro Straulino, Managing Partner at Ogletree Deakins, Marina Armendares, Co-founder at 1up Coaching, Michelle Martinez from the Angel Ventures team, Hugo Jimenez, Corporate Advisor at LinkedIn Corporate Solutions, Fernanda Moreno, Partner & CRO — DESCIFRA and Sofia Garrido, Vice President at General Atlantic. The event aimed to provide a learning space for AV portfolio startups in the areas of legal, recruiting, growth and strategy, intelligence market and perks to boost their growth.
